The quality of "experts" today is horrible. I've been attending meetings about AI to learn from other people. The skills of most of the speakers can be gained in ten minutes by googling the topic, which they then try to sell as services. I guess everyone wants to be a Robert Kiyosaki.

Gave up on my dream of moving to Hawaii. There isn’t much need for someone with my skill set. I can find work. But my presence will make things worse for the locals. Sad, because I wish there was a positive way I can fit into their ecosystem, like teach tech to kids on Maui or Hawaii island.

I'm a bit tired of people trying to sell me crypto investment services/strategies. If what you have is so valuable, why don't you use it to make yourself rich and leave us poor plebs alone?

I’m decently successful. That means I have a handful of really successful friends in network. Reading their stories is very inspirational. But I’m also mindful that for every winner, there are a lot of losers. How many people will be inspired to take a risk they couldn’t afford?

Why is it that I can't find any fraternal orders that are not ritual-based and don't require the belief in a supreme being? I believe in God, but that's personal. I'm seeking a social club that is reason and science-based.

I was watching a video about why Reason Phylicia was having career problems. Basically, she’s too strong and sophisticated. For me, she helps define what an ideal woman is. We need more performance like hers, not less.

I was reading up on local news and found out about an amazing non-profit in my town, Pathways to Independence. I'm hoping to find something like it that focuses on helping people get into IT.

Last full day on Hawaii (Big) Island. My wife is a teacher, so it'll be impossible for us to move. But it's fun dreaming about how amazing moving here will be. I love not feeling nickel and dimed all the time.
