I've been playing Crusader Kings 3 lately due to the new DLC and I made the mistake of looking at paradox forum anti threads. And I am pretty sure that these posters either can't conceive and articulate what they really want from the game, or genuinely just want to play RaHoWar.

I don't think 'white french guy larping as an angolan civil war survivor music commune wearing KKK uniforms' is a sentence that has ever been said before, but I guess we live in a post 'dosing your bandmate with estrogen to steal his fiancee' world.

I have fond memories of the times I ate ramen at a streetside restaurant that sold ok gyoza and ramen with always undercooked chicken and off tasting egg and nearly raw vegetables, but when you're past an hour or long train ride and a 9 to 5 nothing tastes better than getting maced in the face.

I still think the most infuriating mecha take I have ever seen is 'the mechas aren't the most important part of the mecha genre'. Same headspace as calling a picture of a park yuri because you can 'imagine the yearning a woman experienced for another in that chair'.

Finished Digimon Time Stranger recently and it sure is a game that was stuck in development hell and had to cut and redo a lot of it over time! Still had fun with it more often than not though which is saying something for a 50 hour game with some collect 13 horse asses ahh sidequests.

This is actually a dream I had yesterday but I forgot to post about it here then because the day before that night I was effectively trapped in a sauna for five hours lmao so here goes.

Reading the wikipedia talk page on the Gaza genocide article a lot today, very informative on what lengths and mental hoops/gymnastics someone would go through in the name of justifying and pushing a minority opinion not really backed by much of anything.

Finally finished #writing the first chapter of a #mecha novel I'm working on, prehistoric conspiracy theories, space colonization and its consequences, getting mildly and patronizingly insulted by a celebriy, and a violent dream sequence, look forward to seeing it somewhere soon!

Gotta say, that while it is funny that both DC and Marvel have made an AU where the problem is that a dark god reached out to make a universe where evil wins and people live in our world but the capitalists and dictators and fascists have superpowers, I fuck with the Ultimates more tbh.
