Tomorrow is the Budapest Memorandum anniversary, and I still can’t get over this question:
Why did the U.S. insist Ukraine’s nukes go to russia instead of being destroyed or transferred safely to the U.S.?

Every time I see posts about Ukrainian cities destroyed by Russia, I read comments like:
“Nothing terrible. Russia will rebuild everything. Look, there are new buildings in Mariupol.”
What’s wrong with you?
A city is not walls.
Not concrete. Not facades

Woke up, don’t know what to say anymore. What I heard before finally going to bed in the morning was a funeral procession for a fallen warrior behind my window, despite the ongoing air raid. While the rest of Europe hides behind us and our children, pretending it’s all fine.
