As DH grows, it’s increasingly important to publish conference papers, but there hasn’t been a clear venue for that.

So I’m thrilled to share this new home for DH proceedings, which will include CHR papers & more.

Thanks to @taylor-arnold.bsky.social for leading this effort!

As part of the program, @hanshatzel.bsky.social, @evelyngius.bsky.social & @haimostiemer.bsky.social presented our current work on the PLANS project — including analyses based on our full dataset on modeling Plot Units. Our @narrativesimtask.bsky.social also sparked lively discussion! (3/4)

1/ 🚨 New preprint alert!

We (@lisawarner.bsky.social @ajamesgreen.bsky.social and myself) estimated the carbon footprint of air travel associated with >20 international conferences (2023–2025) in psychology & behavioral medicine.

Spoiler: it’s a lot. 🛫🌍🧠

Flying back today from a circuit of some (not all!) of the great DH centers in Germany (Darmstadt, Bielefeld, Leipzig and Würzburg). Such great energy and amazing people moving the field forward at each one. I'm bringing back lots of ideas.
