Why is the Government so tragically unenterprising when it comes to electric buses?

TfL has been procuring only electric buses since 2021, but Govt wants to wait until at least 2030 for a national mandate.

Dirty air is a killer, we need #EllasLaw and much (!) more ambition.

Good to see that our Council now has guidance on how to halt the growing numbers of trip hazards and wheelchair obstacles - those cables crossing pavements used to charge kerbside electric vehicles.

This feels like creeping privatisation of the public realm and if the charging connects to a particular home creates unhelpful assumptions about who stores their car where. 🧵
