ALL THIS
For every $1 spent on climate resilience and preparedness, communities save $13 in damages and cleanup costs.

NOAA saves lives AND billions of dollars.

Trump and Musk's dismantling of NOAA has nothing to do with "fraud" or "waste" — it's just mindless destruction that will make us all worse off.

A federal judge ordered six federal agencies to rehire thousands of probationary workers fired under Musk’s government-cutting initiative. Judge William J. Alsup ruled the firings unlawful, carried out unilaterally by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

Excellent summary of GLRI and EPA in the Great Lakes. We have to look at both the environmental impacts AND the economic impacts....invasive species threaten the $7bil/year fisheries industry in the GL....this funding helps protect that! Environmentalism is not always a fight against economics! 🧪🌎
"But funding can’t protect the #GreatLakes if there’s nobody to direct it."

Recent staffing cuts could cost the EPA's Great Lakes National Program Office approximately 200 employees - one-fifth of its workforce.
