September' night sky 🌕✨🔭

We are back into eclipse season, and there will be a total lunar eclipse and a partial solar eclipse this month - though the solar eclipse will only be visible from the southern Pacific region and not from the UK and Ireland.

✨May's night skies✨

Mars will become a dim evening star, Jupiter will become lost in the dusk by the end of the month. But we have much to look forward to; the ETA Aquarids meteor shower,
The milkyway core, elusive night shining clouds, conjunctions and bioluminescent plankton under starry skies✨

Friday marked one year since Alyn Wallace left us to be in the stars. A few mutual friends and I made a pilgrimage to his newly erected memorial art installation above Craig goch dam, Elan valley, it was so lovely to meet his brother there too! We miss you buddy! X

Happy full moon! 🌕
January's full moon is known as the wolf moon, named after hungry winter wolves hunting & howling by the light of the full moon.
From south Dartmoor, the waxing gibbous will rise in the east at 15:44 opposite the setting sun in the west, which sets at 16:39.

Saturday and Sunday do look like they may feature freezing fog for at least the morning, do wonder if some places may see hoar frost so keep an eye out for that!

This weekend I've been experimenting with Kokedama, moss ball planters which bind the roots much like a bonsai tree pot. They'll green up in a few weeks, I'll post pics of the progress 💚🪴🌿
I might make a couple for the garden too #gardening
