So "A weary heart to match the eyes" is so far sitting at 140 poems. That's so much more than "Forgoing the mask" with its 62 poems. 😅

TIL that the word egregious used to mean distinguished and illustrious but today means the opposite because it started to become used sarcastically so often that the definition eventually changed.

It's been an insane couple of days. On Friday I was incredibly distraught over my car and essentially coming to terms that I'll have to abandon it at the tow lot because I can't afford to have it taken out. I did get to spend a little time with my brother and catch up.

Long day today. Riding the bus to therapy, get food, spend a bit of time at Barnes and Noble to write, pick up a package, go to the tow yard and pay fees and have my car moved, then go to the Pride Center for a get together.

It's been awhile since I did it last and I'm happy with how it turned out. Seeing my natural color more and more every day was making me sad. My hair is a big part of my self-image.

One of the best poetry books I've read. What's interesting is that poems on the left side have less prose and are more matter of fact while the right has more prose and more flowery speech. I also wrote a poem on the page inspired by it. #poetry

Morning walk. I needed nature, so I left home just around sunrise. Hard to choose just 4 photos, out of 25 or so that were keepers. Nature put on a good show this morning!

First post. Not much to say 😅
Going to try and take it easy the rest of today. Probably game and do some writing.
