I hope Cohen & Stearns don't try what they did before this past season of seeing how much they can press Pete to bring down his price. That was insulting to one of the all-time legends of the franchise (& good guy). He's our 1st possible homegrown 500 HR hitter. DON'T LET HIM GO!

Apparently, we've got a "situation" here that needs a room of its own.

What needs to go are enablers such as yourself who make excuses for fecklessness & bad leadership. Senators like Schumer, Durbin, & the others who voted for the CR or (silently) acquiesced in that cave think these are normal times & aren't capable of adjusting to the fact that they're not.

On whose part?
November 12, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Jesus Fucking Christ. The only reason they were "designed to expire" is because JOE FUCKING MANCHIN REFUSED TO AGREE TO MAKE THEM PERMANENT.

You know...the guy who is no longer a Democrat?
tfw you're being quoted by Dear Leader's propaganda megaphone.

The couple in Ordinary People are going to get divorced. (Just watched it again this past weekend.)

Did they overlook it or might that be why he won?
November 12, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Unfortunately, not soon enough. He's got too much time left to do damage.

As one of his Connecticut constituents, I like everything he's saying here. But I don't like what he's not saying, which is that Chuck Schumer has to go.

As long as Chris continues to ignore the pressing need for leadership change, I'm not satisfied.

Call for Schumer’s ouster.

A valiant stand. I salute your resolute willingness to fight!

The actual finding here is that a huge percentage of the population believes things that are not true. Democrats objectively did not spend significant time on climate change or LGBTQ issues in the last election campaign.
Duh. Those of us on the ground last year actually speaking with middle class/working class voters and who heard from these voters every single day the same - “Trump is an asshole, but Democrats are out of touch” - could’ve saved my new political party a lot of time & money producing this “report.”👇

Here's how to move past this: Accountability for the failure in how it ended.

Either Chuck Schumer put together the cave himself (most likely) or doesn't command respect in the caucus such that he could stop it.

He's got to go. Dems who refuse to tell him to step down are complicit. What'll it be?
