It's okay to stop and anome you're not enjoying. Sometimes, we power through due to hype, popularity , or someone's favorite. It's okay to just say it isn't for you.
It's also okay not to watch a big anime as it airs if you don't want to. There is no timer when to be a part of a shows conversation

Anime fans 100% should be buying physical media for their favorite shows - or even shows that they kind of like but aren't super popular. Streaming licenses are fairly short, all considered, and there's a chance that a show you love will never come back once it gets yanked

Chest Quest as dumb as that sounds when i was 5 years old. The goo aliens used to freak me out and if wake up screaming in the middle of the night. But granted, I then went to my dad in the morning asking him to play it so I can watch. 😅
