I think trans women absolutely face pressure to make themselves small and accept cruel treatment + accept suspicion and malevolence. And i appreciate that youre generous enough to see an echo of your own experience in d’s. Im personally sus of d’s coming out the gate like a salesperson for detrans

i think that theres less utility in someone deciding to hold an identity personally that is affiliated with less social power than in cultivating a politics of solidarity where their energy is invested in redistributing social power .
