Not a shared stadium, the league prioritizes non shared stadiums for national broadcasts cuz those teams have more flexibility but a very hot market that probably shouldn’t be playing a summer game at 12pm (denver will also be bad for that)

I don’t think it has much to do with European broadcasts, it’s for the big American broadcasters who have open slots (CBS, ABC, ESPN)

The timing of schedule releases gets interesting… does MLS release the fall schedule early enough for NWSL. NWSL has to deal with MLS playoffs in the earlier part of the season now etc. Hopefully everyone is collaborative enough 🥲

I would think it’d be generally positive but still requires the league to evaluate its kick off times with broadcasters to hopefully move away from mid day summer kick offs

I average going to ~ 1 MLS game per season so I personally don’t have much stake in this, curious what it means for folks with NWSL and MLS season tickets, maybe helps with less conflicts?

I don’t know that this calendar is better for player health than the existing calendar. Just the opposite of extremes. The main issue this summer was the TV prescribed kick off times
