still has 100% backup from thermal plants. I whish we had some old nuclear reactors instead to complement our wind & solar. The second reality is that despite this we have not employed expensive storage, the energy-using industries has fled decades ago, unlike Sweden & Finland.

Simon Herris has the audacity to post this on X. He is the PM of Ireland, & despite Irelands first hand experience with starvation & genocide, SH & Ireland has not sanctioned Israel or anything else meningfully, despite Irish law demand it, not European but nationally. Why? US funds most likely.

Reality: EU has surpassed China as the second biggest economy globally.
We need to stop playing second fiddle to US, Russia, China, India & instead punch in our weight class being an equal superpower.
Need to #federalize EU to accomplish this.
