A quick search shows that the original spoiler image was Boros, but I guess that was a mistake and fixed prior to release. It did seem a bit too strong for a 2-drop, haha.

Stupid flip cards... I hate mainboard dual-faced cards in physical card games, but these two are too important to the ATLA limited environment to exclude from my cube. I'm going to use helper cards to represent them so players don't have to keep unsleeving and flipping them, but it's still annoying.

Got these sealed products for my ATLA cube. The Beginner Box is predetermined, but I pulled pretty well from the Jumpstart boxes, so I only had to order a handful of singles online to supplement them. As soon as those singles arrive, I should be able to complete the cube!

I somehow managed to go 2-1 with a really weak sealed pool, but I guess that's just a combination of player skill and some good variance when I needed it, haha. I did get the Aang dice bag as prizing for going 2-1, so that was cool. And I will be attending two more prereleases tomorrow and Sunday!

but at least I pulled the last few cards I needed for a potential Psycho Gundam deck. I hadn't really been thinking about it too hard, so maybe that'll be the next list I work on.

That covered my entry fee plus the ST06 Clan Unity starter deck I picked up while I was there, which was great.

I also managed to pull both Qubeley and Haman Karn, so those went in the deck. And I pulled the LR and LR+ GQuuuuuuX, but it's unplayable in limited.

starter deck had the LR+ Gundam Barbatos, which is the most expensive card I could've possibly gotten. I don't care about this card at all, so I will definitely trade or sell it when I get the chance. So the event ended up going very well for me overall, and I'll probably try another one tomorrow.

Bandai TCGs have unique packs for winners of local tournaments. The cards in these packs are the same ones as those in the participation packs, just with a special foil treatment and stamp. They look quite nice in person, but are ultimately just fancy versions of otherwise inexpensive cards.

Additionally, a local furry I met a while ago on Barq offered to ask their friend to print out a fursona badge for me since I didn't have one. It was a really nice gesture, especially since we don't know each other very well and were only able to meet briefly at the con, and I was very appreciative.

Everyone was complimenting my deck even though it seemed pretty straightforward to me. I just prioritized drafting removal when possible and picked up all of the good bats I saw, haha. My round 3 opponent even said my deck was so good that I should take a picture of it, so I did.

I decided to run a bunch of anthems so that Francisco can start attacking and exploring as soon as turn 3, and the rest are just efficient or otherwise neat bird and bird-themed cards. Being in black means I can run things like Baleful Strix, Sinkhole Surveyor, Maha, and funnily enough, Murder.

I've been thinking about building a bird Commander deck for a while now. I didn't really like any of the options for it though, since they were locked into just white, blue, and maybe green. I really wanted to run the neat bird cards in black, so I recently landed on this combination of partners.

My favorite "Eldrazi" card is Warping Wail! But if I had to pick a creature, it's got to be Propagator Drone.

All of the creatures from Bloomburrow are great, but I especially like the rabbits! Finneas is my favorite, haha.

I got to use Cori Mountain Monastery a lot when playing Commander over the past couple weeks, and I have not been disappointed. It's such an underrated land, and I feel like I would put it in pretty much any red deck, even ones where it would only come in tapped.

Since my Finneas deck got pushed firmly into bracket 3 by the previous Commander Brackets update, I figured I should just go ahead and buy a Savannah like I was previously considering to fully optimize the mana base. I just finished modifying the deck and am looking forward to trying it out!

So that Mabel deck I put together is actually pretty decent and relatively fast. I don't think it'd do enough in multiplayer, but it at least does well in 1v1s. I got to make a friend relive the trauma of playing against Boros Mice in Standard, so that was pretty funny, haha.
