I don't get why so many series now take 2 years or longer to release 8 episode seasons. We used to get 22 new episodes every year! The shortest series (like Dexter) still had 12 episodes. They were released at the same time every year. Why isn't that possible anymore?

It seems so odd that someone who hasn't done NSFW before is trying to push people to be silent and do nothing over the changes.
