Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett is a delightful light read, but you have to read the first book (Encyclopaedia of Faeries) in order to understand this one. Some people found the main character, Emily, annoying for being self-absorbed. I think she’s different in a good way 💖
