The idea that we cannot print money to pay down debt is severely flawed. Bc it would only cause hyperinflation if it was done all at once. But we can print more money gradually over time to pay down the debt, over 10-20 years, instead of all at once.

The administration is, or will soon begin, learning that increasing federal executive resources, is like adjusting a line item in a balance sheet. There are only so many judicial, state, legislative resources to actually do what they want to do. 1/

Trump, who dismissed Adams’ charges for corruptly accepting foreign travel-related benefits, is now accepting a whole luxury plane from a foreign govt?

Foreign bribery is a huge national security and intelligence risk. The president must be held accountable for such brazen corruption.

We are living in Hobbes’ Leviathan (massive monarchical figure with teeming subjects), but we must restore Locke’s fundamental rights (life, liberty, property) and democratic rule (government by rational-minded consensus). Disinformation undermines rationality, monarchs abuse fundamental rights.

Tariffs are just a mercantilistic ploy for loyalty and tribute.
Trading partners are not to blame for our domestic economic inequality. Instead of arbitrary & capricious tariffs, if you really wanted to reduce inequality, you would curb corporate influence, tax the ultra-wealthy, and empower labor.

We haven’t been “ripped off” by the post-war order we fostered and benefited from through rapid and disproportionate economic growth. At home, tariffs will raise prices and deepen inequality. Abroad, they will isolate us from our trading partners and undermine confidence in our markets.

Manufacturing is no longer America’s competitive advantage, and bringing it back won’t fix inequality. Many hypothetical jobs will be automated. Low corp taxes means mgmt (not labor) will reap most of the benefits. How can US workers compete against cheaper labor abroad without reducing wages?

POLITICO source said they didn't think "Trump knows or cares" that NSC blacklist is circulating. But if Loomer met with him, then he is probably at least aware.

Why isn't NSC staffing based on merit, experience, and expertise instead of loyalty? How are these the ppl running our nat'l security?

The richest man in the world spent more money than most of us will see in our lifetimes to lose a state Supreme Court race by 10 points.

And the fact his $25 million was a drop in the bucket compared to what he's spent on other elections is exactly why we must overturn Citizens United.

What are we doing to ensure Israel uses the arms they buy from us responsibly?

We don’t control our allies. But we can impose conditions on our arms sales to set responsible guardrails on Israel. Starting with rigorous adherence to principles of int’l law.

Where has this been from the GOP? Where was it for USAID, medical research, VOA? When the govt funds programs you disagree with, it's bc a majority voted for it. That's not waste/fraud/abuse, that's democracy.
