Expat Thanksgiving in Japan in the late 90s. Someone who brought food to the potluck wasn’t careful about food safety, and 90% of the guests spent the night heaving in trash cans while sitting on toilets. Only 2 people ended up in the hospital due to dehydration, though, so win? I guess?

She still has a 6’ bookcase full of gift boxes and another full of shipping boxes and packing material, but nooo those liquor boxes were the perfect size and how could we think of pitching them?

Helping my in-laws clean out the attic. Just took an SUV load of flattened cardboard boxes to the recycling depot, with my MIL frantically trying to save the good ones from the dumpster.

In Uganda there was a Something that lived outside one of our cabins and made a loud THOK noise every few minutes. Roommate wanted to know what bird it was; I said it was prob a frog or lizard. Never did find the culprit.

I have decided that my drag name would be Blanche Cauliflower. Might be the jet lag talking. But might also be worth drawing a drag cauliflower?
