Many animal shelters are overwhelmed from people dropping off beloved pets they can't take with them as they flee. Please consider donating and fostering. Pasadena Humane is one such org. Contact your local animal orgs to see if they need help.

Jimmy Carter, dead at 100, was mocked as a country bumpkin but didn't deserve our sneers. He probably improved more lives over a longer period of time than any other president.
