back from my much deserved break from standard to say that anyone running more than one copy of this card in their simic jackal deck have no clue what they're doing

borrowed affinity for the sunday event (little better going 4-3 drop). one of my opponents was on ritual but this time teching for affinity with 3x culling ritual 2x FoV but he still lost post board after answering turn 1 emissary but died to emry plus emissary num 2 plus rebuke protection 🤷‍♂️

this birthing ritual deck is hot garbage tbh

played out of my mind in antwerp after teching for prowess and ended up still only getting 2-3 in the main event with a 0-2 start. lost to prowess in 5th round bc even after endurancing him 3 times he still had the nut draw of double cutter for lethal 😂

in a world where you can still combo off and win on turn 4 with battlecrier, kona or mono red, im genuinely of the mindset that bans like beans, abuelos or this town aint big enough were largely reductive and buy-in-large a net negative for the format

honestly wasn't expecting much from the deck but seeing nothing but creature piles at the top tables had me in my happy place 🧘‍♂️
