Good news: Trump Admin reversed visa terminations for US students- for now. These affected > 4000 students. They are developing a broad framework for it, though.
Conjecture: they did this because lawsuits were exponentiating- there were already 100 for students, & there are 10K DOJ lawyers...

Members of Oregon District 2 Indivisible arranged flowers then delivered bouquets to local federal workers. BLM, Forest Service, Social Security, VA , Post Office, NPR & PBS offices got flowers on a Thursday afternoon. Flowers were locally sourced and vases were re-cycled of course. It's Oregon!
