What does this picture show?
That knobby brown stuff at the bottom - it used to be a vibrant coral reef.
The branching staghorn corals are all dead, their skeletons smothered in silt & algae. A few mound-shaped corals & a green sponge still survive.
Grossly overfished.
Nice turtle though.
