Look, none of this was my idea, but here we are.

They said there'd be snacks. Where are the snacks?
Dad, photographer, traveler, sociologist, researcher.
It's pretty rare for someone to get a photo of me I'm not aware of, and with my own camera at that. Anyhow, this is me, Fat Thor, sitting in a small tea shop in Ilam this past October.

Tacky. But then did anyone not expect it? The man is gaudy, cheap, and indeed the corpulent embodiment of the term 'trumpery.'

This is me sporting my covid fat layer, terribly out of shape and almost 65. Life gets weird, you just have to ride it out so you can see where it leads. In my case, it leads back to daily walks, the spin cycle, the gym and a high protein, log carb calorie restricted diet... I don't wanna be Santa!

Two women from Daman, Nepal. I don't normally do many colour images, but these portraits just had to be in colour.

Portrait of a woman from Daman, Nepal. I have to admit, I do enjoy the colour version of this edit more than the black & white.

Portraits of three women from Daman, Makwanpur, Nepal.
It was a dark, cold, rainy day so I thought capturing these women's faces emerging from the dark of the little tea shop we stopped in might be interesting and a departure from other similar portraits I've made.

The same young woman 10 years apart. Portraits like this are why I keep going back to places for years, year after year, decade after decade. Now all I need to do is live to be a million to finish what I've started. Tamakhubari, Nepal
