Breastfeeding plays an important role in cancer prevention and much more, so it is encouraging to see it getting attention in Parliament.

This is a testament to the amazing work of @1stepsnutrition.bsky.social & @katiepk.bsky.social who advocate tirelessly for better nutrition in the early years.
Great to see infant feeding being raised as a matter of policy priority for the UK Parliament by @jessbrownfullermp.bsky.social, who made it clear that the promise by Secretary of State for Health to create the “healthiest generation ever” cannot be met unless infant feeding is prioritised.

Can't recommend Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams enough. Excellently written, and while the subject is largely quite existentially depressing, there are moments where I have literally laughed out loud, including this gem... #carelesspeople

This is a lovely article. Captures the bewilderment of early postpartum. With so many opinions on parenting/feeding/sleeping/everything so readily available, often unsolicited, reassurance that you're doing ok is so powerful.

This has had me giggling all afternoon. It was posted by @lisagillmore.bsky.social on X, but unfortunately she is not very active here, and I just have to share it.

When you start the day watching Paddington with your kid and finish it watch Black Doves with your partner, you find yourself seriously questioning whether the Browns are actually safe.

@thenewsagents.com What if ... the 2011 referendum on switching to AV had passed? Would love to hear your perspectives on this... Would we still have had Tories in gov for 12 years? Would Brexit even have been possible?
