Yea, I think this feels pretty right. I think it's best of the bad outcomes in that it preserves WB as a studio instead its dismembering/consolidation into Paramount or Universal. BUT, how does TCM work separated from WB? Who knows! How about CNN? Or TNT?
here's me on the Netflix–Warner Bros. merger, how David Ellison and Paramount Skydance lost their long-planned bid, and What This All Means for the future of the cable news and global entertainment industries (spoiler: it doesn't look good) slate.com/technology/2...
Why the Netflix–Warner Bros. Deal Could Be the Death of Movie Theaters
It’s a megamerger for the streaming age—but not everyone in Hollywood is happy.

I saw it in Inglewood in a theater filled with Black people my age and older and folks had a good time. Apple is really ridiculous. Giving this a proper release would only be good for Apple TV+. I know they make a fortune daily but why leave money on the table? Why?

#Highest2Lowest is worth watching on the big screen. Lee and Washington are the best duo in cinema today. Great filmmaking for 2025!

Only 2 theaters in Iowa showing Spike Lee's new film. Go see it! Great direction, acting, and I loved the Puerto Rican parade dance concert scene! (I'm a little biased: viva Puerto Rrrrrrico!)
Opening Friday: #Highest2Lowest 📉 The latest Spike Lee joint, a reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa's HIGH AND LOW, stars Denzel Washington as a titan music mogul, known for having the “best ears in the business,” who is targeted with a ransom plot and jammed up in a life-or-death moral dilemma.

President Trump didn't like the jobs numbers, so he fired the person responsible for producing them.
It's a move that has been tried before, by leaders of countries from Argentina to Greece to the Soviet Union. It rarely ends well.
