Ah, but you see they're 'ex-pats'. Very different. Apparently.

I am shocked at this, from a convicted criminal and repeated sex offender.

It's *really* hard to tell her off, I won't lie!

Humans are wild sometimes. I remember getting the (1 and a half hour) bus to work once. 6 in the morning, empty. Fella gets on...and sits next to me. About 40 spare seats, and he sits next to me. I didn't know him. Proper odd, and made for an uncomfortable hour or so.

Officially, yes, but in reality? Not so much.

Bali is majority Hindu and almost separate to the rest of Indonesia in terms of religion and culture.

Excellent diversion tactics. I've actually yet to have anyone try to stand by their comment and answer the question.

Of course, I also meant to say 'in favour of', in that previous reply, but thumbs were quicker than brain, clearly.

Try asking them what they think if means and they tend to go very quiet. In their defence, it isn't easy to openly state that you are generally opposed to persecution and inequality.

Is there anyone still actually doing that? Any possibility died when he flopped so badly at Villa and then compounded it by choosing the Saudi dough.

But I also love equally that his brother is happy to question things - even adults in positions of influence. That desire will serve him well, and also means he's exceedingly difficult to make a fool of, at five years old!

That they're so very different is also interesting in its own right.

But again, in direct contrast to his brother, his instinct is always to question things and make sure that he understands and agrees with it before continuing.

Honestly, I *loved* both responses from them, and supported them as such. I love that Twin 1 has such a kind, innocent heart.

Twin 2: "I'm not doing this. I don't know where the money goes and the army does bad things as well". Now, I will confess that I have already been on at them both about critical thinking and when to question information you're being given, so I should perhaps not be surprised here.

Twin 1: "Daddy, can I donate a gold coin from my money box so I can get a poppy? Can I donate FIVE dollars instead?". His instinct was to take the information that this was a good thing at face value, and contribute as much as he could.

Couldn't agree more, mate. It's thoroughly depressing. He could be prime Beckenbauer and I'd not want him. As it is, we're seemingly happy to sell our morals for average, and that really does sap enthusiasm for all of it.
