By helping call Putin’s bluff, Putin is now calling his bluff back: Trump doesn’t want to add sanctions against Russia. Trump manoeuvred himself into a corner he could have directly avoided in the short-term by letting the Europeans run with their 30 day deadline to Putin.
Zelenskyy has called Putin's bluff. The Kremlin does not want peace: 1) Putin rejects a 30-day ceasefire, & 2) neither Putin nor Lavrov will participate in the Istanbul talks. Time for more Western pressure on Russia & more arms for Ukraine.

Poilievre Bragged That He Has Never Changed His Mind. That’s the Problem that Kory Tenycke is pointing out to Conservative organisers. He’s highlighting that Ford built the template on how Conservatives can easily win Ontario seats but Pierre won’t use it. Shocking.

All successful companies separate operational and capital expenditures in theory budgets. Thank you, Mark Carney, for aligning the Canadian government’s budgeting practices with the world’s gold standard of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. #cdnpoli #canada #elbowsup
There is a difference between bad debt and good debt

Trudeau was a pro at bad debt - borrow and give it away no longterm tax revenues

Carney will balance operational budget and borrow for capital projects

Capital projects will create jobs, improve trade, and increase tax revenues

As a leader of the Conservatives, Smith celebrates paying 10% tariffs on Alberta oil sold that now also has lost over 10% of its market value since Trump’s Liberation Day. The Progressive Conservatives were at least coherent. #CdnPol #Canada
Just 12 hours after U.S. auto tariffs came into effect, Stellantis temporarily shut down its Windsor, Ont., assembly plant and laid off thousands of workers.

Danielle Smith said, “Today was an important win for Canada and Alberta.”
