starting to think my poor little PC isn’t going to survive much longer… it’s kind of hard to tell if its performance issues are caused by age (it’s six years old, so it’s not super old but not NEW) or if it’s just all of the current BS going on with windows 11.

The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.

it is so weird transitioning from a regional school without any doctoral programs to an R1 research campus with 10,000+ more students. what do you mean some of the funding goes to things that aren’t the football team???

for the record, since originally posting that, this series has taken over my life. its all murderbot in my brain all of the time. network effect made me so so so unwell and i am clawing at the walls waiting for platform decay
first order of business: all systems red is fun and has me REALLY excited to dive into the rest of the murderbot diaries when i get home, and especially the meatier novels. murderbot is a miserable freak and i love it so much.
