On the subject of odor—I smell really good. Like, good, good. Thank you, my bless-ed ancestors for the good stank genes.

"Odorless" is strongly human-centric concept.

I'm sure there are some substances that never emit any particles that some creature might sniff out (glass? ceramics?) but not a lot.

But, If *we* can't smell it (water, methane, hormones, botulism toxin) then it's odorless.

“DYK there are 206 bones in the human body? And half of those are in the hands & feet?

People say, ‘I'm gonna break every bone in your body.’ That's ridiculous! That's far too much work—50 is more than enough."

Looking at pics and vids of playground equipment through history, I feel it took a long time for adults to believe that children, given a chance, might actually survive childhood.

Update: 😸

My sweet, loving, jerk of a cat finally reappeared in the basement. Looks like she's curious and agile enough to get into places, but too dumb to get out of them.

I had to reach in and pull her up and over by the scruff across a 12 inch gap she could not figure out how to jump.

"Remember, remember the 5th of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot."

And so commences our annual watch of the masterpiece, "V for Vendetta:" more relevant now, than ever before.

One great thing about ultra high-MP, HQ lens, autofocus, phone cameras is when you can zoom in on an amateur's full-body nude on socials and see their cock's every texture, wrinkle, hair, follicle, and sub-surface vein, larger than actual size and in perfect focus.
Beautiful.

What could make an anti-science, anti-healthcare, anti-vaccine, fascist takeover even better?

That's right! A new Mpox outbreak not associated with international travelers in Los Angeles!

It's so weird how the people who are all about sticking forever to what appears on a birth certificate keep saying "JD Vance" instead of James Donald Bowman.

That's weird, right?

My minimal kitchen would be just a bucket air fryer, microwave, toaster, and electric kettle.

My ideal kitchen would also have a gas cooktop with a griddle, double the air fryers and microwaves, and a single-slot oven.

Right now, I'm content to live (cook) in the middle.

Telling all of your military leaders, directly to their faces, that they are literally soft, weak, fat, stupid, cowardly, and insufficiently 100% white men, seems like a great way to help them feel pretty good about doing a coup.

If you find yourself wondering "jeez, how bad is this going to get before it's stopped?", remember that it's already as bad as that for the people* who recently have been assaulted, kidnapped, detained, deported, and disappeared by alleged federal agents.

What's under attack right now is The Freedom To Mock. It's so important it is protected two ways: #1, from the gov'ment via the First Amendment; #2, from corporations via the Fair Use exceptions to copyright law that protects parody.

Tyrants fear Mockery, as it can destroy them.
