The vigor of AI being stuffed down our throats as an answer to every problem is concerning. AI needs us more than we need it, so keep using it to write texts you used to be able to write last year.

Does he not know how this works? The money shouldn’t go directly to us, we should have to spend less.

This guys never flown into O’Hare over Christmas. Your connecting flight is so far away you have to jog for 15 minutes with a roller bag and backpack to make it. These people are deeply weird. Spin-your-finger around-your-ear cuckoo.
Duffy on what he's doing to improve the airport experience for travelers: "Maybe I want a workout area where people might get some blood flowing doing some pull ups or step ups in the airport."

This should serve as a regular reminder that anyone who doesn’t immediately fall in line with Trump is a “far-left radical.”
Immergut deposed Monica Lewinsky for Ken Starr, was a US attorney under Bush, and was appointed to the bench by Trump during his first term. This is not some left-wing judge.
Immergut: I'm handling this on expedited basis, but defendants haven't provided new info.

SHE RULES FROM THE BENCH: I grant the plaintiffs motion for a second TRO based on reasons stated in previous order...

These folks love to use misleading language, so when they call this a “Democrat shutdown” consider that they may be telling us is actually, “we’re shutting down the Democrats.” Eliminating the competition is one of the most basic tenets of nature and dictators.
The White House is targeting blue states with its first wave of cuts to federal projects following the government shutdown.

The Office of Management and Budget is withholding billions in energy and infrastructure money in more than a dozen states that voted against Trump.

And our bridges and highways are crumbling because of a lack of investment in infrastructure.
*The AI boom = one of the costliest building sprees in world history

* Past 3 years' commitments are greater than the cost of building the U.S. interstate highway system

* Consumers must spend $800 billion on AI within a few years, to justify investment from 2023-24

When are they going to defy a command? Does each officer already know or are they winging it?
“.. I can’t remember anyone ever telling me we can’t say anything critical about a civilian like this. He was not in our chain of command or anything,” the officer said.

Klan members did the same thing so you wouldn’t know it was the town judge, barber, or neighbor who was terrorizing and murdering.

AI would be worthwhile if we can stop people using the word “iconic” to describe things that are only recognizable. Like, maybe before you can make a post it gives you a prompt that goes something like, “Is that furniture store really “iconic”? Or is there another word you could use here?”

The federal government taking private property? They called that collectivization in communist countries, but with this regime, it’s a real estate land grab.
What about Japanese owned steel companies?
