Not my provost asking me “how has U-M sustained me?” When literally it chose to charge student activists for supporting Palestine, ended DEI, continuously caves to the Regents, doesn’t adequately protect target colleagues, and so much more. How can this place ever possibly sustain me?

A student I taught 4 years ago is graduating college this year and I just so happened to be back in Massachusetts for her solo photo exhibit (which only is happening tonight). I feel so lucky that I get to teach really thoughtful, creative, and curious students 😭

I think its time for an escort system. If you are a student who is active on Palestine and who is not a citizen, or if your friend is, you need to walk with them so that if this happens someone is there to advocate and witness at least.

This is vicious.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

New from me: A look at four (of many) areas where Trump and his GOP allies threaten to roll back disability policy:

-Disability rights at work
-Cuts to the federal workforce
-Education
-Health care, both in terms of the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid

Please check it out!
Cutting Medicaid and federal programs are among 4 key Trump administration policy changes that could make life harder for disabled people
Tracking disability policies has long been challenging − this will become a harder task under the Trump administration.
