I've always wondered: where do the presents go if the train set is taking up all the space under the tree? I've set my G scale train up before, but it quickly ends up unable to run because the presents end up blocking the tracks.

I think we all know which one she meant. And I think it's amazing that stringing together 2 words that start with the correct letters and vaguely sound like his name is all it takes to know exactly who we're talking about.

After driving around in the snow here in KC on Monday, I don't want to give up my 4wd Honda Pilot, but I'd love to replace my Ford Focus with a station wagon, or some sort of 4 door hatchback. It has almost no capacity to haul anything if I need to use the back seat as a seat.

I entered Whamhalla this morning, because there was a commercial for 94.9 playing all Christmas music, and they used that song in the commercial.

I need something in between N scale and G scale that runs and has a full circle of track.

The HO runs but I don't have any track. I also have the new Lego Christmas train, but I don't have it motorized yet.

They have to keep an eye on what the neighbors are doing.

This is a playlist of videos from one of my favorite YouTube channels of building a 2x4 N scale layout.

I have a nosy kitty as well. This is where she spends most of her time, unless she's pestering us or our other cat.

I was wondering if you were at the show today. I noticed that I'm in the far background of this video, standing in front of the window.

I have heard that one a lot. It also says something that my brother-in-law is a Ford mechanic and neither he nor his wife drive a Ford. They have a Honda and a Toyota.

The Focus is my first, and will likely be, the last Ford I own.

I have a Focus, currently in the shop for a new clutch. The mechanic, who happens to be my brother-in-law, told me that he believes that the Focus should probably only be owned by mechanics due to how many issues they have.

You have just made my 12 year old daughter's day. Possibly her week. We found out about the league during the finals last season and watched all the rest of the games, and she's been asking me for a couple months when the new season would start and if we'd be able to watch the games.

Oh, yay. I live about 5 miles away from one of the venues, that will hold about 80,000 people.

Probably won't try to recreate any of them exactly, but I think it would be fun to do an homage to them. Might not be family-friendly enough to run at train shows, though, especially since I run T-TRAK and the modules are at perfect viewing hight for kids.

I'm not under 35, but I'm doing my part to end whatever gatekeeping behavior I come across. I always tell people that my #1 rule of model railroading is: If you're having fun, you're doing it right. Rule #2 is: It's my railroad I can do whatever I want with it.

Considering Missouri had at least one state legislator arguing that 14 year olds could get married, and we have a GOP trifecta in our state government, we're probably in the running as well.

They'll have a very difficult time taking transit for the Kansas City matches. We have a streetcar, but it doesn't go anywhere near the stadiums, no commuter rail, and bus service that leaves a lot to be desired. Driving is the only reliable way to get around here. It sucks.

It's a card game for horrible people, but they use their money to troll people who are even more horrible.

Can you go over there and tell them to get back to work?

They're not that expensive, either. I've been using Nord for several years, mainly to get around MLB streaming blackout restrictions, and the cost is so low it barely registers on my budget.
