Forgot to post these yesterday, but had fun running T-TRAK and Mini Dioramas with my train club in Clinton, MO yesterday.

I have a nosy kitty as well. This is where she spends most of her time, unless she's pestering us or our other cat.

The Diabetes Express running on the club's layout at Gladfest yesterday.

Here's the underside of one of the T-TRAK modules from last night's post.

Latest project. Remote yard turnout controls for T-TRAK. Each end has full controls for both ends, and they communicate wirelessly. ESP32 for the brains and a whole lot of wiring underneath. I did the code (with help) and another club member provided the hardware.

Beautiful foggy morning on my drive to work today.

Here are a couple of tiny Z shorty projects I've created. Both using the 45mm radius curves. The one on the flat car runs off of 2 AA batteries and runs great on my neighbor's G scale layout.

I worked on another mini diorama over the weekend, and put the finishing touches on it today. I've had the astronaut and the little rocket for a while, and finally got around to creating the diorama to put them on.

I wasn't completely happy with my mountain pass mini diorama, because the Kato track just looked so plastic and fake compared to the scenery. Tonight I fixed that. Added some rust to the rails and weathering powder to the plastic roadbed, and I think it looks much better than before.

If they hate the CN rainbow hopper, they'll really hate this consist.

Built a new Mini Diorama yesterday, based on the high line on the Durango & Silverton railroad in Colorado. I think I did a pretty good job on it.

Mushrooms! At the front yard.

My wife hung a basket of petunias off our front screened porch, and now we have a nest, complete with eggs, nestled in among the flowers.

Im building a setup for my bass, using the POD and a DI box for split signals into a small mixer, but I'm having trouble finding a way to carry it easily. The footswitch is 19" long and 9" deep, so finding a case that will fit is difficult. (1/2)

Interesting clouds tonight. First photo is looking west. Second photo is looking southeast.

Excuse the background mess, but for the first time in what feels like forever I actually have a place to practice guitar and bass. I need to put the stand on wheels so I can get to the shelves, but I'll hopefully get to that before I need anything that's on them.

It ain't pretty, but I soldered my first circuit board today.

There is a toad in my yard.

Forgot to post this the other day, but I dug out the crappy G scale track and set it up in the driveway to test how well it would work in a larger loop. I need more power connections, but otherwise it worked well.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility, and this locomotive and box car are the closest things I have on the layout to represent the trans community. Locomotive is UP heritage fleet locomotive 1979, "We Are One", and the box car is custom painted with the Pride Progress flag.

Since BlueSky won't let me add photos AND videos to the same post, here's a video of the entire train running on my layout.

This past weekend the last 2 cars were finished and added to my daughter's glitter train. Glitter work done by my wife.

Ran my HO scale train on the layout at the train store today.

Because I'm such a stickler for realism 🤣 here's a Santa Fe dockside 0-4-0T pulling an Amtrak Superliner transition sleeper around the layout.

That locomotive is about as old as I am. It's one of 3 that my dad gave me when I got started in model railroading, and the only 1 that still works well.

Are you sure it's not this one?
