A step-by-step checklist for homeowners who lost their properties. Info is confusing (do you apply to insurance or FEMA first?). Lets make it easier for our community to recover.

More guides to come.

I know I keep screaming this into the void but just because climate change isn’t the *only* factor contributing to an extreme event doesn’t mean it’s not *a* factor. Literally nothing on Earth is unaffected by the changing climate.

This is the right take. Burying our heads in the sand and giving up condemns future generations to even more suffering. Every bit of decarbonization today reduces that future pain. It’s a moral imperative.
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Hey y'all: is anyone out there thinking about what enabling policy/regulation it would take to permit balcony solar in the USA? Shouldnt we? (Context www.canarymedia.com/articles/sol...). 🔌💡
How Germany outfitted half a million balconies with solar panels
The country’s residents installed 200MW of balcony solar during the first half of 2024. It’s becoming an increasingly popular way to take climate action…
