Goodness I hate these types of physics/math/CS doofuses. I have a background in all three, but also a lot of respect for the "softer" sciences like bio and history. I feel like these bozos are part of the same crowd that thinks AI will magically solve every problem. Ugh!

You're quite right. Someone trying to build a house does have to worry a lot more about getting it "right" than someone trying to tear it down.

The thing that sickens me most, as an autistic adult with a wife and two kids who pays considerable taxes, is that I know, I KNOW he would insist I'm not "really" autistic. Because definitionally for modern Hans Aspergers, "autistic" refers to kids that aren't useful labor. And this..."disposable" 🤮

😂 When I was a physics grad student, I got a steady stream of crackpot emails, mostly from retired men, asking me to read their theory proving relativity or quantum were wrong, or their idea for a perpetual motion machine.

It's oddly comforting to know Physics isn't the only field that gets that.

NH is the South of the North. I grew up there and it's a bit of a mess, politically. It's extremely Republican historically, with notable liberal filaments extending up from Boston and MA. Some Democrats get elected based on appealing to "old school" Republicans.
