The largest SNAP cuts in history went into effect yesterday, eliminating or drastically cutting food assistance for millions of Americans.

And it’s all to pay for more tax cuts that primarily benefit the super-rich.

Trickle-down economics isn't just a hoax — it's cruel.

Angela Rayner is perfectly entitled to buy a third home, she's worked really hard to get where she is now, and political posts pay less than equivalent private sector jobs anyway.

If it turns out that Lucy Connolly has broken her license conditions.

The authorities should not fear any public and media backlash.

They should just treat her the same as anyone else and immediately recall her to prison.

The far right rage about asylum seekers in “hotels” like it’s a poolside resort in Majorca. In reality, they’re budget motorway stops with broken kettles. Time for them to end the misguided protests, pack up the flags, and go home.

The only reason Labour are having some opinion poll problems, is voter lack of knowledge on policy. I.e. they aren't considering that the Conservatives left Labour a country on its knees, and it will take a few years to fix up. 1/2

Keir Starmer being prepared to make concessions to colleagues on the welfare reform bill, isn't a 'climb down'.

It's evidence of good leadership, and a properly functioning democracy in action.

Right wing commentators and politicians are constantly highlighting government failure on grooming gangs.

They conveniently forget, the whole awful episode, took place when THEY were in charge of the country.

Re people complaining about Labour planning to cut sickness benefits. If an unemployed person has £400 monthly benefits to survive on. Why should a sick person get benefits that are double or treble that? That isn't fair. Go Labour!

Trump and Musk may seem untouchable now, but history shows the US establishment always finds a way to rid itself of those who overstep. No grand conspiracy—just relentless legal scrutiny, uncovering the cracks, and dragging them through the courts.

An exhausted Elon Musk appears to be having an undiagnosed psychiatric breakdown. There's lots of self sabotage, lots of alienating people. His subconscious is trying to orchestrate his retirement.

It's about 6 months, since Labour got into power. And I'm starting to see the birth pains of something brilliant being born. Government departments are starting to answer in 6 days, instead of 6 weeks. New NHS dentists are coming online, doctors appointments are suddenly more available...

Trumps second Presidency:
Day 1: Sign off a flurry of silly Executive Orders.
Day 2 to Day 1461: Hang out in his White House bedroom, endlessly watching his ratings on the TV News Networks.

Donald Trump looked guilty at his victory rally. We know why, because despite all his empty grand promises. He's (as reported last time) about to go back to spending most of his working day just watching his ratings on the TV networks.

I've life hacked all fresh ingredient Roast Dinners into being as easy as cooking a Ready Meal, here's the 'recipe':
Take a roasting tin.
Add a roast beef joint, pre-peeled carrots, and potatoes (thank you, supermarket!).
Roast in the oven for 2 hours.
That's it! 🧑‍🍳

Considering the extensive misinformation that Elon Musk is posting about the United Kingdom + Elon's huge audience. It's surely now in the UK's national interest, to ban Elon Musk's account in the UK. And if we can't ban his account, just ban X in the UK.

Voting in 'Squid Game' reminds me of the consequences of voting Labour or Conservative. Red for safety and a fair society. Or blue for probable death, but yeh ok, you might just get rich by nefarious means. 😂

The South Korean plane crash, was it not possible to ditch in the sea? Or land somewhere without a wall in the way. I really hope this isn't pilots being constrained by procedure, as in forced to land on the runway by higher ups.

last May, the cashier at TJ Maxx asked me if i needed to pick up any gifts for my mother for mother’s day bc they just got a bunch of cute things in so i said “no thanks, she’s dead” and she just stared at me for 30 seconds then asked if i wanted to save 10% by opening up a TJ Maxx rewards card.

So UK election 2029, a now ageing Elon, flies to Britain. Musk excitedly jumps up and down behind Farage, shouting 'let's go'. Can't wait...

People don't want to know about God, or the true meaning of Christmas. But when a relative dies, it's all 'Happy heavenly Birthday Nan' or 'Fly high with the angels Grandad' - Hang on, are you in, or out?

I absolutely understand why US citizens are climbing up the walls with fury about the disgusting, exploitative legalised criminality of the US healthcare system. But murdering people is not the answer. This needs fixing by democracy, mass protest etc. Luigi Mangione is no hero.

Elon Musk got very rich buy selling us our dreams. But I feel concerned for him, all the money and it's associated power, has caused him to become maladjusted. And once you spiral out to somewhere bad, it's hard to return to being normally adjusted.

Labour never promised in their manifesto to pay out compensation to the so called 'WASPI' women. All the changes to the pension age, were published in the press at the time. 90% of ladies affected by the pension age changes, knew about it. Sorry, no compensation due.
