In 2019, the federal government assembled 13 experts to create guidance on safer supply.

In 2023, the committee provided two final reports. These were promptly buried, and my attempt to get them yielded giant blocks of black ink.

You shouldn’t need an advanced degree to be a parent.

I trust engineers to develop carseats and guidelines on how long my kids should sit in them. My research was limited to price and I don’t want to do more.

I have a PhD in Microbiology & Immunology. My kids have all their shots.

4/ He promotes what sociologists call "intensive parenting," as a superior way to ensure kids are safe. That's a time/labor-intensive & stressful form of parenting many US *mothers* feel pressured to follow due to cultural norms/expectations around mothers as primary caregivers.
