PR is the only democratic mechanism that can ensure the popular vote wins government. First past the post guarantees one or other of the conservative duopoly wins with a minority vote.

The Labour gov are a massive, but not at all unexpected, disappointment. More neoliberalism will achieve nothing except further emboldening the far-right. Will we ever learn?
