Things I enjoy: Dogs, Horror films, my family, kind people, sportsball, weirdly specific & specifically weird comedy.
As an 80s movie kid, there were few other film Directors who were more influential in shaping my sensibilities.
Reiner, Spielberg, Dante & Hughes were my 80s Mt. Rushmore.

Ok.

I've always loved QT's films, but his best/favorites lists (actors, films, music, whatever) ALWAYS leave me scratching my head at best.

Yep, we witnessed one of these that Kevin Smith was doing, and my wife was gripping my arm like she was watching The Exorcist for the first time.
Btw, Smith handled it better than anyone I've ever seen. Super patient, kind and engaging even with the weirdest of the weirdos.

That smug, smirky Henry Gibson-esque face of his is SO punchable.

So loved that they actually opened for Pearl Jam at one of their Milwaukee shows.

Jackman & Brewer will be in Milwaukee on Tuesday promoting the movie, and both of them will be serving frozen custard to customers at a place only about 2 miles from my house. Should be nuts.
And judging by the trailer, Hudson is nailing the WI accent; think Fargo-lite but even way more subtle.

Few have a more diverse resume than Bob Clark (ok, maybe Rob Reiner).

3 years ago, we starting doing prime rib instead of turkey. We still feature all the fixins though like stuffing, potatoes, etc.
Leftover prime rib sandwiches absolutely curb stomp ANY turkey leftovers I've ever had.

Your suffering will be legendary even in hell, Charlie Brown.

Next thing we know, they'll be telling us that the MANGRATE doesn't cook steaks perfectly.

However many deviled eggs you plan to make, make more.

If STRANGER THINGS really wanted to be a homage/nostalgia project, those cowards would have cast Atkins as Hooper's father or something. I mean Harbour's character pretty much is the Tom Atkins role, even though that character isn't half the ladies man that your average Atkins character was.

Remember when Howard Dean ended his presidential bid after...*checks notes*...yelling at a rally?
Good times.

Hey, how 'bout that. This will has ZERO effect on him, politically.

Yeah, I simply don't understand why there's even a discourse here. I WILL say that it may have muddied the waters a bit when they decided to give Craig's Bond some continuity.

The Obi-Wan series is what finally killed Star Wars for me. I had SUCH high hopes for it, only for it to be big budget fan fiction.

I remember almost peeing myself laughing when the first Sprockets sketch aired.
I was a weird kid.

Love this. I'm super grateful to my late Father-in-law who raised my wife on genre classics. Her family OWNED Pumpkinhead for chrissakes.

You've just described what happens to almost every film nerd parent.

Who can we talk to re: Walton Goggins as the next Felix Leiter?
I'll hang up and listen for my answer.
