God saw that annoying political discourse from last night was still going on and shut down Twitter for me specifically so I don't wake up upset, I can look at cat photos and such here instead.

My issue with the fight for democracy, aside from the different conversation of "Illinois House rep rigs election for appointed successor", is democracy shouldn't be the end goal; it's often treated as such!

Democracy leading to us having a better life should be the end goal, which AOC talks about!

I grew up in Nevada, so it's been part of my world growing up

I never understood it, I thought it was one of the worst ways to gamble, and I never liked how angry adults got at the athletes, especially the college athletes.

I'm fully behind a ban, and I don't want them to spare Nevada this time.

Objectively I should be more happy I no longer live in Indiana (and I am VERY happy not living there anymore), but deep in my heart I'm happier I no longer live in Pennsylvania.

I will always support you because I *had* to move away from the state I love, we couldn't afford it.

I hope you, and the movement you inspire, let people who love the state of Nevada as much as I do stay there.

I kind of assumed Hollywood was risk-averse based on, like

The way movies are?

I have a hard time understanding how people believe the movie industry plays it way too safe while also thinking *the* movie place likes taking risks.

When I say I'm open to bipartisanship deals, I mean Thomas Massie and similar people

He's honest on the things I hate to hear, so I can trust him when we align, and he does his actual job as a congressman to be a check and balance on the president even if it's "his" president.

Mitch McConnell is the reason why people expect Chuck Schumer to do more

Of course people think the Senate Minority Leader has tons of power, when that leader was Mitch McConnell he was *constantly* used as the reason why Dems couldn't get what they want with a trifecta
