Decent range electric cars were going to get a massive increase in the one-time tax in '26, Tesla's have decent range and had plenty of stock AND offered financing at significantly lower rates than anybody else to move stock.

a full charge (that takes two forevers) and you get to be cold ALL THE WAY. It handles like shite because even lightly loaded it weighs more than three tonnes and has shite ground clearance for aerodynamic reasons. Allegedly you can pull a trailer, but that effectively halves the range in winter.
