<div class="field field-field-text"><p>The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said Israeli forces have killed at least 373 people and wounded 970 others since the start of the ceasefire in October. </p>
<p>Health officials said the death toll in Gaza since October 2023 has increased to 70,360, with 171,047 people wounded. </p>
<p>The health ministry added that more than 50 percent of medicines remain out of stick despite the ceasefire deal. </p>

<p data-end="405" data-start="204">Israeli occupation soldiers raided the city of Qalqilya before dawn on Thursday and spread across several neighbourhoods in the northern occupied West Bank, reported the Palestinian news agency Wafa.</p>
<p data-end="720" data-start="407">Wafa reported that the forces concentrated their presence in the Kafr Saba neighbourhood, sealing it off and converting one home into a field interrogation centre. Soldiers detained several young residents and questioned them inside the house, while also carrying out a series of raids on other homes in the area.</p>
<p data-end="901" data-start="722">Eyewitnesses said the occupation army told residents that a curfew had been imposed on Kafr Saba, ordering people to remain inside and banning all movement during the closure.</p>
<p data-end="1063" data-is-last-node data-is-only-node data-start="903">Al Jazeera Arabic confirmed that Israeli occupation forces stormed Qalqilya at dawn and dispatched additional military reinforcements towards the city.</p>

It’s really fun to spend years working with residents and city staff to move important projects along and then have the provincial government just cancel everything due to toxic populism.
If u care about better cities for people in Ontario Canada, please pay attention to what Premier Ford is doing. Not only would his new bill block cities from building bike-lanes if they touch car lanes, he’s talking about imposing his own street standards & standardized official plans in EVERY city.
