I started a pride group in my small town last year, and we held a meetup event that managed to get about 10 people. This year, we just had our second meetup, a float down the river in town, and we got around 20 people.

Made some baked sourdough discard papusa type guys from some sourdough tortilla dough that gave me stickiness issues. Will definitely be tinkering the recipe with slightly less salt and olive oil in the dough and more cheese in the filling. #breadsky

So, February 21, I started an experiment to wild catch yeast from blueberries, and it has led here. My first loaf of bread made from my active sourdough starter. On the March 11, I lost the main jar, Bluebread Prime, which I kept in the fridge to some sort of infection. #breadsky

So, I ended up baking the recipe for sourdough discard cookies from Farmhouse on Boone, and they turned out great. Cakey enough that they stay soft in the fridge, and not insanely sweet. The only thing, which was a plus, was that I ended up with 39 cookies, not 24. #cookies

Got bored today and decided to experiment with a blooming quilt square. I'm not normally a quilt-y person, but this was fun. I might start storing a box of mismatched blocks I make over time to make something bigger. #craftsky

For #halloween I was a wizard. I made my hat, cloak, staff, spellbook, demon and owl familiars, and the belt holsters for the spellbook, my wands, and my familiar. I used up all of my creative juices during october, but I think it turned out really cool.
