Luckily, I had already foreseen the precariousness of keeping only one jar, and had split Prime into a second starter I keep on the counter, Countertop Bluebread. After the death of Prime, I made two more backups, a Stiff Starter kept in the fridge, and some dehydrated starter made from the others.
