🎄 News says “failing NHS”—but this crisis didn’t appear overnight. It’s years of underfunding, privatisation & political choices that put profit over people.

The govt can change this. NHS staff & patients deserve action, real investment, and leaders who fight for them as hard as they fight for us.

The attacks on Zak are becoming more frequent. It's almost as if the people in power are terrified of policies which might benefit struggling, low paid workers and unemployed desperate to find work. One note: I understand Green Party policies are proposed and voted on by members, not just a leader.
Amazing interview attacking Polanski as a "fantasist" "selling unicorns".

But Polanski has not said "squeezing a tiny elite of billionaires will pay for everything that we want and everything that we need.” He has simply argued, as many tax economists do, for a wealth tax.

So who is the fantasist?

One of the most irrelevant polls I've ever seen. Where is the option to say you wouldn't be disappointed at all, especially if your child is a well-balanced human being who doesn't hate others simply because they are told to.
We really are a nation that loves animals and hates children. These figures are so shameful (via @natacha.bsky.social).

Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.
Our 2025 version of "Carol of the Bells" - originally a Ukrainian New Year celebration song "Shchedryk" - music 1st written by Mykola Leontovych in Pokrovsk (now under Russian occupation). The composer would be murdered by a Soviet agent in 1921.

Does a resident doctor earn more than an MP? No. Let’s save the desperate morality grasps from politicians then. MPs have had umpteen pay rises since 2010 and they have quietly and relentlessly awarded these to themselves, regardless of what the public is going through.

Tesla have approved a $1 trillion pay package for Elon Musk. That's 20 billion times more than a nurse in the UK earns.

Don't let anyone tell you immigrants or disabled people are the problem. It's the richest 1% hoarding all the wealth.

Time to tax the super-rich properly.

I think people would feel much more positive about tax/ tax rises/ the country in general if they knew that none of the money put into public services was being siphoned off into private shareholders’ pockets.💰🚨

What is the point of building new homes, if they are:
a) too expensive for people to live in, and
b) don't have essential services like a GP surgery or a school nearby?

Very concerning that the Housing Secretary doesn't seem to understand that... or doesn't care.
