Tim Kaine is on MSNBC accusing Katy Tur of "overdramatizing" the way he and some other Democrats caved. "This is by far a minor-league issue within the Democratic Party," Kaine said.
He's completely out of touch, or just lying.

Is it fair to say that Schumer's Soldiers have once again rescued defeat from the jaws of victory?
Trump and the GOP were on a losing streak that showed no signs of abating.

If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Right now in Michigan, we’re in the middle of a budget showdown.

The Republican Speaker of the House slipped a provision into the budget that would kneecap our Attorney General – and make it near-impossible for us to take the Trump Administration to court.

In 2018, we swung a red seat 20 points(!!) to flip it blue by showing up everywhere and listening.

In 2022, I was re-elected – and helped flip the State Senate. Then we governed like we gave a damn.

Now I'm running for United States Senate – because we're not done.

Not even close.
