Volunteered at a blustery Jesmond Dene Parkrun this morning, now I'm off to Carlisle ahead of running a half marathon tomorrow. Hoping the wind has died down a bit by then or it might be a tad irritating!

My first time ever timekeeping, I survived the jeopardy of being partly responsible for over 200 parkrunners getting a time for their run today! Nice weather for it too!

Enjoying a quite relaxing few days in the Lake District. Unlike last year's visit I've actually had decent weather and ticked off a few straggling Wainwright's. Home tomorrow, via another maybe!

Not my usual scene for a Parkrun. But it was my 100th. And my first Parkrun at The Pastures (Alnwick), my first properly cross country, and the first time I've had to stop mid run to retrieve one of shoes from the mud!

Visiting my parents for the weekend, and, courtesy of a morning walk, have reminded myself quite how allergic I am to grass pollen. Hay-fever is ridiculous.

Picked up a cold from somewhere this week. So this morning I was marshaling at Parkrun rather than running. There was plenty of water on the course and in the Ouseburn.
