When a network lays off one of America’s greatest satirists, it’s not because he failed. It’s because he succeeded too loudly.

The HBO show Duster seems like a JJ Abrams soulless reboot of Dukes of Hazard but made Southwestern instead of Southern and TV-MA to get those Game of Thrones viewers back.

They should strategically “mislabel” some copies of the Constitution so we’ll still have them when it comes time to rebuild this country.

A pair of U.K. scholars discovered the mislabeled document in Harvard Law School's digital archives. The university bought it for just $27.50 in 1946. It turned out to be an authentic copy dating to 1300.
Harvard learned it has an authentic Magna Carta. In 1946, it paid less than $28 for it

Is anyone planning a mass Civil Disobedience during Trump’s military parade? I’ll bet you could get busloads of people to sit in the street to block progress. It could be easy to message too: No USAid, no parade! #Trump #parade #resistance

I don’t know why this particular table at Barnes and Noble feels like home, but I want it for my desk.

I just called my representatives. None of them had a prepared statement about the Government’s violation of Due Process. Todd Young, Jim Banks, and @carson.house.gov please do better.

At the very least have a boilerplate statement that the rule of law is good.

That moment of relief when you check Bluesky’s trending topics and it’s all sports and PS5 pricing. No economic or political news.

Two things I’ve learned about American history this week.

1.) Shameful things in our past were not accidents. People knew they were evil and awful and gleefully did them anyway.

2.) A significant portion of our citizens actively cheer other countries’ nonviolent retaliations against us.

I need to commit my code every time I clap my hands together in celebration of something working correctly.

One day I will learn this.

I want White Lotus to run long enough that the primary cast of Best in Show can feature in a season.

Previously they had Jennifer Coolidge. This is Parker Posey’s season. Can’t wait for Eugene Levy - he could even appear as himself taping an episode of The Reluctant Traveler.

Dammit Apple, why do I have to turn off the Apple Intelligence option for EVERY GODDAMN APP after every update?

I did that the last time. I didn't ask for this service and I SUPER don't want the service to watch what I do in other apps.

People are worried about messaging during a Government Shutdown.

For Democrats it’s easy,”get used to this because most of the government will be going away.”

The real political divide between the major parties is not liberal and conservative. It’s governing and opposition.

As bad as Republicans are at governing Schumer and the Democrats may actually be worse at being the opposition. They need to vote “No” and force some real governing to happen.

My wife: Did you make cookies out of the recipe I sent you?!

Me: Yes, they didn’t turn out very well.

Wife (exasperated): The wasn’t a cookie recipe.

Me: What was it for?

Wife: Cookie dough!

Never wear the wrong cologne to work. You smell like you should be sipping cocktails, cheering on a local band that doesn’t suck.

But instead you’re sitting uner fluorescent lights filling out paperwork and trying not to fall asleep.

Joe Biden is being really classy to not remind everyone that planes weren’t crashing on his watch, even though he prefers trains.
