So I created 4 motives, and started working with the first one. That took 2 hrs! This week I'll tackle the other 3 motives, and then it'll take at least another day to enter them into my DAW so I can share them with the group.

Our text book starts out with a chapter on Motives (motifs), so I'm going through WTC #17 looking for motifs and how they change as the piece progresses. I picked # 17 (Ab major) because it sounds so cheerful. I like how the motifs move from soprano to bass and back again, like a conversation.
