I will also (almost) recommend the one from the 90s! It sort of goes a bit gonzo near the end, but the thoughtful Creature is still present and it’s often very lovely to look at.

Every deviation was incredibly thoughtful and only served to highlight the themes you were really going for (and many themes that were already IN the book!). Just a wonderful movie, I’m obsessed, good work everyone! 🥹🍁
